Electronic Waste Disposal
New technology is great - machines keep getting smaller, faster and more energy-efficient - but when we bring home that new cell phone, DVD player or computer, what do we do with the old ones?

E-waste is not garbage
They may be stable while in use, but electronics can release very toxic materials into a landfill, including heavy metals like lead, mercury and cadmium, plus pvc plastic and flame-retardant chemicals.

E-waste is hazardous waste and should be reused and recycled so that toxic chemicals do not find their way into our drinking water and food.
