In recent years, the City of Westmount has undertaken the renovation / reconstruction of several major elements of the municipal infrastructure. 

The city now wishes to renew its sports facilities and especially the Arena / pool complex, which dates from the 1950s/1960s and which no longer meets standards for such facilities. 

However, prior to commencing the project, the city wished to allow citizens to express their opinion on the subject. It is within this context that the city of Westmount mandated Ipsos Descarie to design and execute a representative survey spanning the eight districts. 

The report presents the final results from the survey, which was launched April 15th.
