The team at Station 12 works to maintain security in its territory, in compliance with the global priorities of the Montreal Police Department ( Service de police de la Ville de Montréal or SPVM) . To this end, the team has established these objectives:
- Reduce crime and the number of violent crimes
- Increase the citizens’ sense of security by providing sustained police presence
- Reduce the irritation caused by antisocial behaviour
- Enhance security around schools
- Launch prevention programs in schools and seniors’ residences
- Improve road safety and monitor speed on main arteries in order to reduce traffic accidents
- Participate in local activities
Business Hours
- 7 days a week, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Off hours: a police officer can be contacted using the phone located at the entry
- Day and night police patrol
