GROUYAN GOMBO
This Montreal-based group was formed in 2003. For their Westmound Park performance, they will present a four member band composed of Bernadette Fortin: fiddle, Harlan Johnson: accordion, Shawn Pitre: guitar and Carl Rufh: bass. Grouyan Gombo presents a savoury gumbo of southern and northern roots music, offering a unique blend of cajun, creole and acadian traditions along with their own original compositions.
